My workshop is based in the village of Asthall, just a few miles from Burford in Oxfordshire. Upholstery can be a solitary craft, so I’m always pleased to welcome customers into the studio.

I realised early on, that I wanted to use materials that were sustainable and provide more longevity for my clients modern pieces than synthetic and foam options. I use rubberised hair and coconut fibre for my stuffings as well as the traditional wool, feather and cotton options.  For traditional work, springs, hessian, horseahair, wool and cotton are used.

I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide range of fascinating projects with my clients, from cherished family pieces to the more contemporary . You can explore some examples of my work in the gallery.

Alongside commission work, I also source carefully chosen vintage furniture which I restore and reupholster in my workshop. Each piece is sympathetically revived, respecting its original character while giving it a new lease of life with beautiful, thoughtfully selected fabrics. These one-off pieces are then offered for sale, ready for their next home.
